Peruvian Wool Rugs

POSTED BY Someware LA, 06.Aug.2013 | 0 Comments

We're great admirers of the Peruvian textile traditions and it was these rugs/blankets from the Cuzco region in particular that inspired us to travel there. Their eye catching colors and patterns have been handed down for thousand of years by the Quechua people in the Andes Mountains. The entire process is completed by hand, from the dyeing and spinning of the wool yarn, to the weaving and finishing. These one of a kind finds promise to become a favorite piece, adding warmth and personality to any space. Checkout the whole collection here.
