Intricate woven tray handcrafted using traditional techniques. It's made from Chocolatillo, a small fibrous plant commonly used for basketry. Although traditionally balays are used to keep cassava bread warm, these days they are commonly used as wall hangings, as part of a table setting, or to display household objects. This product contributes to the economic, social, and personal development of indigenous communities in Colombia.
